Most homeowners choose conservatories as an extension of their homes as they’re an affordable alternative to an otherwise expensive house move. Done properly, conservatories will undoubtedly add considerable value to your home, give you necessary extra space, and personalise your home with style.
Our experts will do all we can to guide you through our simple 6-step process:
P-Shaped Conservatory
Our P-shaped conservatories are suitable for almost any property. P-shaped conservatories allow for a bright, open living space, enabling you to have a multi-purpose additional room. With this conservatory, you can add your own finishing touches like patterned glass designs, decorative finials, and more.
Lean-To Conservatory
This conservatory style has a simplistic and minimalist design that will be a perfectly proportioned, modern addition to your property. It will be finished to your liking from a wide range of available doors and glass windows.
Elizabethan Conservatory
This conservatory design incorporates a three-sided pitched roof reminiscent of designs during the Elizabethan time. Similar to the lean-to model, this conservatory has simplistic straight lines and a rectangular design, giving an unobstructed view of your home’s garden or other outdoor features you may have.
Edwardian Conservatory
This design is perhaps the grandest of all those we currently offer. It is a bold rectangular shape, creating the maximum floor space and allowing for a very light and bright additional living space, especially seeing as it has a four-sided pitched roof.
Victorian Conservatory
A Victorian conservatory adds an elegant and bold statement to any home. It will look equally stylish on a modern home as it would on a Victorian-styled property. The conservatory has an eye-catching bay curved frontage, which gives you views of any outdoor features you may have. We have finishing touches of your choice available, including decorative cresting, finials and decorative glass.
The latest guidelines mean that if your chosen conservatory meets the following rules, it almost certainly will not require further costly and time-consuming planning permission:
● The conservatory must not be higher than the highest part of the existing roof.
● It doesn’t exceed 4 metres in height.
● It doesn’t come out onto the front of or obstruct a public highway.
● It doesn’t include raised platforms, verandahs or balconies.
● It doesn’t cover more than half the area of land around the original home.
● If you’re a resident in a listed building, it will be necessary for you to source listed building consent.
● If you live in a semi-detached or terraced property, the conservatory can’t exceed 3-4 metres if it’s a detached home.
